Child Sensitive Interviews: Interviews are conducted in a non-leading, developmentally appropriate, truth seeking manner. The needs of the child are the primary focus of the interviewer Case Management/Family Advocacy: The agency Case Manager provides support to the children seen at the CAC and their families. Parents and caregivers are provided with referrals for needed services, support and information regarding the investigative process. Medical Examinations: The CAC provides on-site specialized medical examinations for children after a disclosure of sexual and/or physical abuse. Counseling: Art and Play Therapy are available at the CAC. Counseling helps children heal from abuse. |
